ragazzi io uso la versione 4.0.0, ma vorrei porvi due domande:

1. Cerco in tutti i modi di installare l' OSX leopard ma non ci riesco, qualcuno di voi sa come fare? ci sono mille guide diverse e non so cosa leggere sul web.

2. Una volta avviata la macchina virtuale col sistema operativo installato, ad esempio windows xp, i virus e i trojan che prendo dalla macchina virtuale non mi intaccano in nessun modo il pc host? Nel senso, la macchina virtuale viene infettata, ma l'infezione resta lì non si sposta anche al mio pc fisico (e dico anche trojan, malware, adware e spyware)? In caso di trojan e server remoto l'hacker può accedere solo alla macchina virtuale quando avviata?

Io la descrizione dettagliata del problema l'avevo scritta subito dopo il mio primo post, ma a quanto pare non è stata pubblicata... Forse ho dimenticato di cliccare su "Invia"... orry:
In realtà è un messaggio di errore inerente le "Funzionalita del subsystem USB" che compare ogni volta che apro le proprietà di una macchina virtuale... Poi però tutto funziona a meraviglia, a parte le porte USB...
Peccato che a me servissero proprio quelle, per poter riversare le iso su pendrive e bootare da li... :acch: :mer:

Avevo già provato sia come root che concedendomi i privilegi da Impostazioni avanzate... Niente da fare... Credo che dipenda forse dal fatto che stia usando ubuntu live da DVD... :red:

Ho provato persino a dare "sudo chmod 666 /dev/vboxdrv" da terminale... Nisba! Suggerimenti?

allora non riesce a gestire le porte e quindi l'errore... bisognerebbe cercare nelle faq di VBOX degli utenti Ubuntu per quanto riguarda questo problema.

credo che vbox non sia stato concepito per girare su Ubuntu Live... ob:
Mi sa tanto che dovrò installare prima ubuntu su HDD oppure masterizzare direttamente le iso tramite parted magic...
E' che mi ero fissato a fare tutto da USB, ma non posso continuare a perderci il sonno... hock:

Io sto usando VirtualBox da Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala Live, perchè non avevo intenzione di installare adesso sul mio pc...
Ho installato l'Extension Pack, e da macchina virtuale in esecuzione ho installato le "Guest additions".
Mi serviva eseguire una iso 7even in virtuale da Ubuntu live per poter usare "A Bootable USB", in modo da riversare su pendrive "Win XP Evo HwNL" per poterlo installare sul pc di un mio "cliente" senza dover obbligatoriamente masterizzare...
Non sono sicuro di aver spiegato la mia situazione nel migliore dei modi... :oops:

sera..volevo sapere se con questo programma posso testare altri s.o. senza intaccare il sistema gia presente sul pc..vorrei provare la w7 sp1 di fab.. ho già masterizzato l'iso del sistema. dovrei salvare dei dati da inserire in virtual? driver o altro?
